The board of studies of Anna University has approved the second foss electiveWe take pleasure in sharing the news with the you that the FOSS Elective II has got the approval during the Anna University -- Board of Studies meeting held on Saturday, 11th November 2006. The official title is : "Enterprise Application development using FOSS" There will be no pre-requisite for taking this elective -- i.e., this could be taken by students of B.E(CSE), B.Tech(IT) and MCA, even if they have not taken the FOSS Elective I.
We take this opportunity to thank Dr. Ravindran for guiding us thru the process and look forward to his continued support in completing the further administrative steps. We also thank all the colleges -- lecturers, HODs and management, and the students -- and seek their full support in this unique FOSS initiative.
