deepOfix Messaging Server from DeepRoot Linux ...
Deep Root Linux has made a public release of their messaging server under GNU GPLDeepRoot Linux ( http://www.deeproot.in) has recently announced the first public release of their deepOfix Messaging Server under the GNU General Public License.
DeepRoot, a six-old pioneer in GNU/Linux based development and service, has been closely involved with NRCFOSS since the planning stage of the project. Mr. Abhas Abhinav of DeepRoot is an active member of the faculty for the NRCFOSS academic and certification programs, and has been regularly interacting with the student community.
The DeepRoot example should inspire other Indian contributors to come out with their product releases and it would also be interesting to see how the FOSS business model in India works in practice.
