Wi-Fi with FOSS weekend certification program from 3rd march

AU-KBC, jointly with NRCFOSS, offers the second batch of Certification Course "Wi-Fi  using FOSS tools" as a weekend programme


The Communications Group of AU-KBC Research Centre, in association with NRCFOSS, has announced a weekend batch of certification course on Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) technology using FOSS components. The main objective of this course is to enlighten the students on the various aspects of an IEEE 802.11 WLAN, popularly known as WiFi.

The first batch of certifiation program was conducted during Dec 18th to 30, 2006. There were 28 participants from colleges and industry. The present program is particularly targetted towards industry participants and final year undergraduate and postgraduate students of ECE, EEE, CSE and IT.
